We had a great time at Packer Park for Party in the Parks on the 23rd Feb despite the weather. And we have a host of plans for 2011 but we need more active support to remain sustainable as an organisation. An AGM might not be the best place to recruit people to the cause but we promise we wont nominate you for Treasurer if you walk in wearing a fancy suit so come on down. The business of the annual general meeting shall be - (a) to receive from the committee reports on the transactions of Climate Change: Our Future Inc during the last preceding financial year. (b) to elect officers of Climate Change: Our Future Inc (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) and the ordinary members of the committee. (c) to receive and consider the statement submitted by the Association in accordance with section 30(3) of the Associations Incorporation Act 1981 (Vic). (d) to discuss the Association goals and plans for 2011 and beyond Anyone wishing to nominate for a position must request a nomination form from the secretary at ccofuture@gmail.com |
